The third one was so bad I have lost all hope for the franchise. I dont have hope that Hollywood can recover it. Nolan did an amazing thing with the Batman franchise, but instances like that are so few and far between. Money is all the producers can see in a franchise like Terminator and its hard to get a good film out of it when a series falls to that level or rises to that status, depending on how you look at it. Its got formula written all over it now. Hope I am wrong though.

The third movie was dreadful. It had Arnold in it. Therefore, having Arnold in a terminator movie isn't the only key for its success. To be quite honest, I am greatly anticipating this new trilogy. Much of the story has not been told, and we have seen how well the Batman franchise has been resurrected. Oh wait, speaking of Batman didn't that have Christian Bail as a lead....wait a minute so will Terminator Salvation.
